WHAT DATA DO YOU HOLD?

We only hold data considered to be necessary for the business to function and no additional information outside of this. UK Dogworks may hold Names, email addresses, home addresses, telephone numbers and veterinary details.

We do not automatically store any personal information, or IP addresses through our website. If it is later deemed necessary to retain your personal information after contacting us via our website, our Privacy Policy will apply to how we use, store and secure this data.. We will only collect personal information from you if you voluntarily submit such information to us.

WHY DO YOU HOLD IT?

We need to know your basic personal information in order to provide you with our services  and for the safety of your dog(s). We will not collect any personal data from you we do not need to provide and oversee this service.

HOW WILL YOU USE MY DATA?

UK Dogworks may use your data  in the following ways:-

  • Phone/Email/Facebook Messages – we will use your data to contact you regarding any bookings or to respond to any queries you have raised with us. If you contact us via our website we will use this information to reply to you.
  • Improve our site – We may use feedback you provide to improve our products and services.
  • Paid products and Services – We may provide paid products and services within the Service. In that case, we use third-party services for payment processing (e.g. payment processors). We will not store or collect your payment card details. That information is provided directly to our third-party payment processors whose use of your personal information is governed by their Privacy Policy. These payment processors adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. WHERE IS MY DATA STORED?

Your data is stored on the UK Dogworks hard drive at our registered address.

IS MY DATA SECURE?

We have systems in place to ensure that your personal information is collected, stored and processed securely to protect against unauthorised access alteration, disclosure or destruction of your personal information, username, password, transaction information and data stored on our Site.

UK Dogworks Database: We are required under UK tax law to keep your basic personal data (name, address, contact details) for a minimum of 6 years after which time we will periodically check that the information we hold is correct and that you are happy for us to continue to hold your data.

WHO HAS ACCESS TO YOUR INFORMATION?

We will not share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.

We do not sell, trade, or rent Users personal identification information to others. UK Dogworks currently do not actively market their services and as such will not contact you for this purpose.

CAN I ASK YOU TO NOT HOLD MY PERSONAL INFORMATION?

Of course. You can always refuse to supply personally information, except that it may prevent you from engaging in certain Site related activities and or prevent you from using any of our services. 

If you would like us to delete all your personal details from our system please put this in writing to info@ukdogworks.com.

For HRMC purposes we must maintain records of all transactions made within the business for 6 years.

CAN I SEE THE DATA YOU HAVE ABOUT ME?

You have a right to see all data we hold on you. 

UK Dogworks aims to take reasonable steps to allow you to correct, amend, delete or limit the use of your personal data.

Whenever possible, you can update your Personal Data directly within your account settings section of our website. If you are unable to change your Personal Data, please contact us to make the required changes.
